The Durango Transit Authority’s Route 2 provides regular service to the Hostel Mon.-Fri. from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Evening and weekend service is Route 6. The fare is $1.00 per ride. Friday and Saturday nights there late-night service also available to/from downtown Durango for $5.00 pp.
Regrettably, the TNM&O Greyhound Bus company discontinued service to Durango in early September, 2011.
The LaPlata County airport is a 20-25 minute drive from downtown Durango. If you need transportation to town from the airport, it is best to arrange for a pickup in advance.
